The Film Woodstock Downunder
With all the great food, beer and wine, the last thing you anyone wants to be doing is driving home. So, In keeping with the festival’s informal “carnival” atmosphere, the Chateau is opening its grounds to one and all. In the spirit of Woodstock, those who want to crash on the grounds can bring a tent. And for a nominal fee of $30-a-site, you can stay in the heart of the Barossa for the entire festival. Pretty cool, huh?
As well as the festival and the Chateau, the Barossa has a heck of a lot to check out. And yes, for those international visitors into kangaroos and emus, we’ve got them too. (The local pub even has them on the menu!) So why not camp over for a couple of days and check it out? For more details, click here to check out the article on the Barossa Herald website
To reserve your site, simply call Chateau Taunda on 8563 3888, or email on firstname.lastname@example.org
Another of our sponsors are for those into a more up-market experiences, the Barossa Novotel nestled amongst the trees just above Jacob’s Creek is only a few minutes away.
For those into backpacking, there’s more good news. The 76 bed Barossa Backpackers is literally 30 seconds from the festival’s front door. To book just email them on email@example.com or click here to book on their website.
For those film makers coming up from Adelaide that want to hang together, Derry is eager to work it so that you can all stay in the same room. Just let him know what film you’re with, how many you expect to be coming up and set the room aside. They have one 10 person dorm, three 6 person dorms, four 4 person dorms and 6 private rooms. Prices range from $27 a night for a dorm room to $80 for a private. Once again, it’s “first in best dressed” and due to the size of the festival early booking is advised.
Every Conceivable Option
The best part about hosting any event in the Barossa, is that we do this type of thing all the time. The Barossa is Mayfair (or, for our American friends, Boardwalk) on the Monopoly board. People love this place. And so, we have every option covered. For more details check out the Barossa Information Centre – where you can book every type of accommodation online.
